I've been hearing good things about Asheville North Carolina for years now but have never visited. However, after taking a look at Shelter Collectives new studio and retail space that has officially got to change. The space carries a selection of curated goods from local makers as well as doubles as a production space for Shelter handbags and a design/build studio. If you live in the Asheville area be sure to stop by.

I do love these quilts by Secret Holiday & Co. Ashley is also the mastermind behind the affirmation banners that you've probably seen around the web. Check out her shop here.
Just wanted to share these pretty new things for SS2012 at Draught Dry Goods plus a look at their workshop where all these pretty things are made. Will be back regularly next week. We've been busy since we got back to the States and by 'busy' I mean enjoying lazy, relaxing days with family. It's been the best.

I got Andrew a few items from their store for his birthday recently, including the brass number clips and the envelopes below. He loved all of them- I mean loved. To enter please leave a comment stating what you'd get with your gift certificate and why (you're addicted to stationary, you love the way it looks, your old one broke etc.). Also be sure to leave your email address. Good luck- I wish I could enter!

I've saved the best for last and yes I'm biased since Selah is Andrew's shop and I designed and styled it. It's been a labor of love but here it is in real life- open for business! Remember my mood board? I think we got pretty close to the original vision. Andrew wanted a space that doubled as his studio and a shop where he could sell his artwork, journals, books, pens, and all things that inspire him. I was really concerned that we got the balance between studio and retail right- it couldn't be too much of one or the other and I think it turned out beautifully. If you live in Cape Town please stop by and say hi- Wills and I work the shop for him from time to time!

Why are notebooks so fun? I'm itching to get my hands on these notebooks and planners by Julia Kostreva.

Described as J.Crews slouchy younger sister, I couldn't think of a description that would better suit my style. Here are some recent looks I love.
I'm excited to share one of the projects I've been working on with gather. The Woodstock Foundry is an amazing new space that has just opened up here in Cape Town. An old historical building that has been renovated, it houses a mix of creative studio spaces as well as retail spaces and a restaurant. Among other things, we were responsible for curating all of the spaces- finding the right mix of tenants.
This week I'm going to share with you the retail tenants. First up is O.live. O.live is by far my favorite store in Cape Town and man was I psyched when they came on board. Take a look below at their beautiful shop at the Foundry.

Remember Palomarie? Well they've just come out with their S/S 2012 Collection and I am in love! Take a look at their beautiful lookbook below and find their shop here. I'm definitely planning on making one or two of these pieces mine.

Andrew turned me on to Couverture and The Garbstore. I love a good online store and they've got everything from homeware to stuff for the boys, girls and kids too. Here are some of my favorites. Also check out their blog to see their guest selection series featuring Elise from Pennyweight, Rachel Comey, Victoria from SF Girl by Bay and others.
In my internet wanderings over the weekend I discovered designer Satsuki Shibuya and fell in love with her collection of home goods. Visit her shop here.

I got the most wonderful package in the mail the other day from Lisanne Janssen. She sent me her beautiful locket and bracelet as a new mama gift! And she didn't leave out little Wills either- she sent him the sweetest onesie. I love all of these treasures so much and have been wearing them non stop- take a peek below and be sure to check out her beautiful shop!

By the way- Wills is eight weeks old today! Can you believe it! Time flies.

I think triangles are here to stay for a little while longer. I'm not tired of them yet, but I totally understand if you are. Let's take a vote- tired or not tired?

Admittedly I'm not much of a camper, (I'm attached to my down comforter and indoor plumbing) but these beauties are making a good case for the great outdoors.
