Finally posting April's cake... This time I used my mom's chocolate cake recipe which turned out great. I also used a bunt pan to get the fun shape and topped it off with a home made ornament that I made out of chopsticks and leftover ribbon. I don't think the pictures do it justice- in person it was super cute.

I have never met a chocolate cake I didn't like. This one looks lovely.
ReplyDeletei love the little flags on top. it's hard to make cake decoration look classy and not tacky. oh man, my cakes always look tacky. but this is just lovely.
