Genrally speaking I believe there are two types of people, beach vacation people, and mountain vacation people. I'm a beach vacation person, however this little mountain getaway looks pretty perfect. Ryan and Mariah designed and built the cabin themselves for only $10,000. How clever of them.

    LOVE. My little brother lives on property very similar to this in a tiny handmade cabin. I love how modern this one is.

    so amazing. i am definitely a beach vacation kinda person too, but i think i would love having a weekend away there in the mountains x

    nice. I guess I'm more of a mountain vacation person since I consider myself a forest girl (but honestly I will say I think I enjoy the mountain and forest from a distance..). love the tiny cozy cabin though.

    I'm a beach vacation person too. No doubt about it. However, I'd like to live in one of these! I love tiny houses. It's gorgeous, and that forest! Would could resist it?

    LOVE IT! There is something so charming about tiny spaces, especially in the woods. Although I'm wondering how they manage without plumbing. That's a luxury I wouldn't want to forgo.

    You are right: Obviously we are beach vacation people. I've never understood why all those people spend so much money on ski vacations to Colorado to be even colder in the winter when they could go to the Caribbean instead. Duh.

    Since it has no better amenities than a tent, why not save $9,500 and use that instead?
