Jackie Kennedy oozed style. After all we have her to thank for bringing over sized sunglasses into our lives- a personal favorite of mine. She is most widely known for her role as First Lady of the United States from 1961-1963. However, besides being First Lady, Jackie Kennedy also had a very successful career as a book editor in the later part of her life and was known for her contributions to the arts and historic preservation. And all of this equals a lot of dressing up and a lot of events to attend for this girl. I love the modern edge Proenza Schouler has given to the classic two piece suit, incorporating interesting lines and a fresh color pallet.
