April's Cake

Finally posting April's cake...  This time I used my mom's chocolate cake recipe which turned out great. I also used a bunt pan to get the fun shape and topped it off with a home made ornament that I made out of chopsticks and leftover ribbon. I don't think the pictures do it justice- in person it was super cute.

    i love the little flags on top. it's hard to make cake decoration look classy and not tacky. oh man, my cakes always look tacky. but this is just lovely.
