I enjoyed the rainy, cold, grey winters day from the coziness of my home today. People stopped by off and on which was nice and I was able to spend time with my two best friends. It's been a great visit home and I'm going to continue to soak up my family, friends and winter over the next two weeks before heading back to summer, Cape Town and a new year. That's all for now.

Life lately has been full of sweet moments from amazing friends who bring us a warm dinner every night to flowers and notes of congratulations to the sweetest sleeping babe tucked in his cradle. I can't believe it's been two weeks already.
I had every intention of ringing in Christmas this week on the blog but motherhood has gotten in the way a bit. But over the next few weeks I'll have gift ideas, giveaways and lots of Christmas cheer and best of all I'll be posting Stateside as we'll be home for Christmas with our families in Virginia! Ten days late- but he's finally here! I went into labor on Thanksgiving night and welcomed this not so little bundle the next evening at home. It will be quiet around here for a little while, but I'm still around- just busy staring at my baby boy. (William and Matthew after our father's- Moses for good measure. We are calling him Wills. And yes, he has the worlds chubbiest cheeks- perfect for kissing on)
