If Eleanor Roosevelt was still around, she'd be wearing Ralph Lauren's Spring 2010 Collection.

True fact: Eleanor Roosevelt and her husband Franklin Roosevelt were fifth cousins, once removed. Another interesting fact, Eleanor Roosevelt's uncle was President Theodore Roosevelt. I'm not sure if the first lady would wear pink, but I think this look from Ralph Lauren's Spring 2010 collection, which drew a lot of inspiration from the 1930's, is right on. I love the jacked and hat paired with the formal dress. If you'd like to see the rest of the "Now and Then Gang" go here.

One look at Randy P. Martin's work and you'll be ready to pack your bags and leave it all behind.

When I go shopping I tend to wander around with no plan. Recently as I've stared into my closet for upwards of 20 and 30 minutes at a time wondering what to wear I've realized that my shopping methods might be to blame for my lack of options. So I've come up with a plan for 2011. I've chosen 11 pieces that I'd really like as staples; pieces that I love and that I know I'd wear. Instead of wandering aimlessly, I'm shopping with a plan. Some of these things I already have, but below is what I'd like to collect over 2011.

blouse, striped top, cropped pants, ring, navy jacket, boots, cropped sweater, bag, ballet top, trench coat, pleated pants

My friend Jess sent me the link to this wedding when she received a kind email from the bride who had seen Jess' portfolio on size too small. Turns out they've got a lot in common. It also turns out Lily had one of the sweetest weddings I've seen in a long time. Take a look.

Leah Duncan has a new tea towel out and man do I want it.

P.S. I ordered her 2011 calendar and it's beautiful! I couldn't be happier with that purchase.

How beautiful is the portfolio of my friend Jess?

I'm completely inspired by all that she's created. Jess and I are in the middle of planning her wedding which is just six weeks away! It actually kind of feels like this. I think it's going to be magical. See more of her work here and stay tuned for the wedding...

I see a few. By the way- if you haven't seen The September Issue, rent it. I think she's so fascinating.

I've had these ladies saved for a while now. I love the bohemian 70's vibe they've got going on- but I'm a sucker for the 70's anyway.

I can't think of a single thing I don't like about the 70's, except maybe the lack of concern for personal hygiene. Possibly the only thing I like more than 70's fashion is the updated take on 70's fashion that's been buzzing around the atmosphere lately.

I was pretty pleased with myself for making this cake the other night. I'd like to get better at making cakes; specifically decorating them. So I've decided that for 2011 I'm going to make a cake a month. One year, twelve different cakes- all hopefully better than the last. So here's January's cake. It's pretty simple but (hopefully) it's only going to get better from here- stick around.

Another peek into a lovely space. Sabine's home was featured on An Afternoon With- a new favorite for me. If you're like me and can't get enough of interiors, make sure to check it out.

If Audrey Hepburn were still alive, she'd be wearing Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2011 Collection.

I'm pretty sure every designer would love to dress Audrey Hepburn. I'm also pretty sure Audrey would love to wear Oscar. His clothing has a classic beauty that appeals to women worldwide. Sounds and looks like a perfect match. To see the rest of the "Now and Then Gang" go here.

I'm in love with this campaign for Imogene and Willie, a clothing store based in Nashville Tennessee. Photographed by D'art Photographie; the styling is perfect, the models (who are actually musicians) are perfect, the clothing is perfect, the photography is perfect... you get the point- it's perfect. I was so happy looking through the photos that I decided to go to the Imogene and Willie website. Turns out Imogene and Willie is named after the owner's grandparents- it's a really sweet story and worth the read.

A few images from I Am In Like With My Bike Tumblr. Funnily, the first top left picture looks exactly like my brother, Sam.
What a delightful surprise to find in my inbox- EmersonMade Spring 2011 Collection. Here are a few of my favorite looks.

Since there are approximately five guys that read this blog I thought I'd share this fun find- Manzine. Men's Health it's not, (thank goodness). Instead you'll find all sorts of topics from men's fashion to work and leisure. It looks like it's worth a try based on the design alone. If you live in Europe you're in luck- you can order it direct. But for everyone else- online is the way to go.

Dear Creatures of Comfort, if you could go ahead and put this amazing skirt in the mail to me that would be great. I haven't loved a piece of clothing this much in a long time.
